Hey everyone,

A huge thank you to my patrons! I'm still hard at work!

I've been building and modifying asset packs so I can build this new environment! I decided to use these bits and pieces in the comic I was creating!


Unfortunately you can't use the slides yet :P Unless I can find some way to detect when the player is sliding :D (Might be for a future update).

I'm going to be spending the next week or so just constructing more pieces and starting to create the AI pieces for the next demo. However, this process might run a little slow because I will be creating better nodes for flow graphs whenever I see something I could improve!

So the Devlog discussion on time periods was great. I've got a really good idea on what I want to use time periods for. So I'm thinking of breaking it down into 4 sections,

Morning, Afternoon, Evening, Night.

Time moves in specific "chunks" skipping ahead. Skipping if you choose to "nap" or if you perform a specific activity that takes a time chunk. I'm also thinking this would be a great "fail" condition. Like in Pokemon, if you faint you will loose the time in the current chunk.

I like those four time periods because it gives you two time periods to do stuff in when NPC's are around, it gives you a time period for being home by bedtime and going through a bedtime routine (Bath/change/bed). The final time period NPC's are asleep, doors are locked and its time to sneak around and see monsters!

So that's my current thinking I'm going to add it into the design document!
