Btw Bram actually mentioned he wanted a radio last episode I believe. Also I think fukuchi thought it was like a grown person who took the picture and considering how that kid had to crouch just to fit, he probably didn't think a grown person could fit in there. Though I agree, That being said, considering the other mental gymnastics he did, him checking the coffin should of been on the list lol.

I'd say Rampo is above both of them but Dazai and Fydor are super witty and slimey when it comes to getting the job done so you'll see them outsmart Rampo in a way he either wasn't expecting or in a way that intercepts the order of his plans.

In the manga Fukuchi is about to send info to the past in order to catch the girl before she takes a picture but the explosion distracts him so he doesn’t do it. Idk why they didn’t include that in the anime because of course he would do that ? It’s all he’s been doing in the last couple of episodes lol. Regardless, the episode was still great as always !

I always saw them as specializing in different things. Ranpo's specialty is more deduction and investigation, while Dazai/Fyodor's specialty is more about planning out strategies. However, we've seen that if the need arises, Ranpo and Dazai are also really good at fulfilling each other's roles (Ranpo planned strategies during season 3 when Dazai was shot, while we saw Dazai figure out the murderer immediately in the episode that first featured Ranpo).

At this point the author of Bungo Stray Dogs has to be a genius. They wrote such a compelling story that they don't even feel the need to the BS since they know that in the grand scheme of things, folks will mainly focus on the moments of brilliance.
