Yah the magi series was a victim of when it came out along with anime not being as mainstream when it came out. I believe the original magi series came out while shows like naruto shippuden and hunter x hunter were rolling out episodes. So sales weren’t as high for magi and therefor not getting any new seasons. Also despite how good the show was adventures of sinbad was a colossal flop. So yah I believe that’s why both series were cut short.

Fun fact: the little girl is pisti, and the little boy spartos from previous eps are the one’s we see in Sinbad’s crew in Magi. Parsine also appears as a syndrian represenative in the episodes where alibaba confronts his brother although she’s just a NPC . Both the Queen, King Darius and the Imauchak Chief and their respective djinn equips appear in the last ep of Magi. I don’t think the manga will ever explore it so I don’t know if this is a spoiler? but if you check out the characters wiki many characters in this series are deceased which is why we never see them in Magi (the pink haired Princess, the 2 assassins, Hinahoho’s wife, Mystra’s, the wizard lady from the last dungeon ect. Many in the fandom speculate their deaths have something to do with Sinbad’s state of partial depravity. The episode in Magi we’re Sinbad was either discussing cursess, or when Sindriya was being invaded( I don’t remember which) you can notice the younger members seemed confused or oblivious to what was being discussed while the older members were drawn with stoic expressions and darkened eyes signifying something ominous in the past that the younger ones weren’t around for.

In a way, Yunan is the magi who guided Sinbad, but he doesn't belong with anyone or anywhere. That is why he is called the wandering magi. In contrast we have Sheherazade that belongs in Reim, Judar that belongs in the empire and Aladdin which is "only" Alibaba's magi.

yeah you guys should defiantly pick up the manga after this. lots of plot twist. to clear up a couple of things the little girl pisti is apart of Sinbad's crew. we dont actually see Mystras in the magi anime the guy we do see is his little brother spartos who we saw a couple episodes ago. also Yunan is not Sinbads magi hes called the wondering Magi because all he does is go around spawning dunjins he doesn't have ties to any nation like judal and Scheherazade

Yunan doesn’t have a King vessel, he guided only Sinbad, the first conqueror, hoping to be his Magi, but Yunan was terrified by Sinbad being too powerful and perfect to be the king. So he never became his Magi. Sinbad was literally TOO perfect which is crazy.
