The most important piece of information to answer your after episode question was given to you by the President ;) He said the doctor couldn't handle being Mori's assistant......for a second time. Never at all during the entirety of the show before this moment does anyone mention Yosano having ANY ties to the Port Mafia let alone, Mori himself. So what do they mean by, "for a second time"? (Timestamp 20:35) Now that you know that, add in the president SPECIFICALLY saying Mori couldnt choose her and Mori blatantly lying and saying he could choose her anyway? This all adds up to this season being a train wreck of bad to worse 👀😏 🤣

?? It might be my bad but they didn't seem to catch that little tid bit the dialogue gave. As someone who is caught up on the manga it would somewhat answer their question about "why" Yosano. I say it's a train wreck afterwards because that's just how I feel 🤣 it's a good train wreck but a train wreck nonetheless lol

Roshi made a good point, who you going to trust? The Mafia Boss that lied to our face a second ago or Francis who has been a piece of crap.... but wasn't the last part of last season about Francis turning over a new leaf? I would expect him to be much less of a piece of crap after he got humbled by becoming poor and having to climb back up again. So it could still go either way, which makes this very interesting. I don't think Francis will betray them right now. He does need to get Margaret healed because that blood user (Nathaniel) almost killed him this episode so he does need the Agency's help to heal Margaret to defend himself.

My memory of Season 3 is a bit rusty. Aside from Alcott and Poe, did everyone leave The Guild when Francis went broke? I was hoping we'd see Twain, Steinbeck, and Lovecraft again.

Same. I had to do a Google search and edit this post and my previous post several times just to get the names and powers right. Lovecraft is Cthullu, Twain is Huck Finn + Tom Sawyer, and Steinbeck is Grapes of Wrath. Alcott is the lady who helped Francis get his shit together last season (she was in this episode). I don't remember her ability, though.

Yeah he still seems shady for sure, but I think Margaret really is that important that he can't betray the Agency, he needs her to get healed or else he will get clapped by Nathaniel's Blood powered traps. He might help the Agency until they heal Margaret for him, at least.

I do agree that besides eye color they do look pretty similar and their characters are extremely similar. They both are the big brains that sort of give the plot direction while rampo helps move the plot forward at some points. The whole show is just 5d chess between dazai and fyodor with rampo being the only reason the agency can really keep up and deducing their moves as they make them I feel bad lupa getting clapped already. Yall gonna need to pay extra attention cause the 5D chess is only gonna get more confusing from here tbh.

The secretary that was on the floor is the one who has future seeing ability or prediction ability or something. I remember from last season that she needs some silence to focus and goes into a room and starts writing a whole book worth of information about future plans that Francis then follows because it will give him the best chance of success or something. So she basically comes up with the plans for Francis after Francis tells her what his objective/mission is.
