I could be VERY wrong about this but this is just my assumption on Francis' power To try and answer Sheera's (sorry for mispell) and Roshi's question about the logistics of these things (About the pot, the wedding ring, the new suit if that was retail or appraisal) It might be based of the "general worth" if it were to be bought by the masses, regardless of the discounts. For example, if something costed 500,000 dollars (like his wedding ring) and he somehow bought it for cheaper, its still a "500,000 dollar wedding ring" in name its just that he got it for cheaper price. Just like the stocks he just hustled from that guy at the end. He bought them for rock bottom prices but their general value is "400 million dollars". If anyone happens to know this in its entirety please say so cause I'm also very interested in his ability as he is one of my favorites in the anime.
