Wow, it's funny that in The Great Gatsby, the overall moral of the story is that even with all the wealth and social status in the world, Gatsby couldn't get what he really wanted, which was a life with the women he loved. That's exactly what Fitzgerald is trying to accomplish here. I love that it's not just his ability, but his entire motivation that aligns with The Great Gatsby; This show leveled up it's writing in my eyes this episode (I also love the Gatsby book so I'm partial to the moral).
