Right now I wonder if the spider web they found in the destroyed cook copy is a hint or a misdirection. Right now I guess the wolf are the most suspect but I feel like they are not the main antagonist behind this. My guess is the rune is going to protect Chise in a way she needed. The teacher said it not a protection a human would wanted but Chise doesn’t realy need the same protection as a human she double curse. So she need another kind of protection, Altho I don’t know what kind of protection the ruin would give, Lucy and Zoe, Pet the snake 😅 That some weird kink relationship 😁

The speech with Chise running headfirst and expecting thing to work out. I think what got to her is what if your sacrificing yourself is not enough what if they continue and eat her friend afterward. She is lucky that this time it is just sheeps. It was an easy way out. I could well see a scenario where they would have said. Ok you want to save those two wolves we will take two of your friends instead. But I do have to give it to Chise. Even If I stop and think. After Episode. Whether is Philomela or the head of the household that wrote the letter it seem that Philomela has not much say say in her own life so I doubt the idea of dropping out came from her. We can always work on ourselves and try to become better but at some point I believe everyone is different and should be themself Balance. Being peer pressure into changing into something you are not is not better. So yea do try to improve but within reason. Take Care 😋
