Love the outfit

Louie23_LA

Perfect timing like always 👍

Louie23_LA

this is a great match, that's it, thats all i got. sometimes you say so much on your reviews that I'm left just speechless. do you see why you are praised for your reviews?

Louie23_LA

one more thing. you gotta stop calling yourself stupid, especially over a word I've never heard of. if you're stupid then i don't want to know what i am.

AwakeProductions

You’re right I shouldn’t do that to myself. I think I do it because I want to beat people to the punch. Like call myself stupid before they do. Just so they know I’m already aware that I’m dumb so they don’t have to say it.

Louie23_LA

but the thing is, you are not dumb. just listening to you speak i can tell you're an intelligent person. you may not accept it but its the truth.

Morribb Tyler Lehrer

I think the word you were looking for with Kita (Inarizaki’s captain) was “consistent” As for Tsuki not being assertive, maybe “passive”? All said, great reaction, excited to see what comes next

This flashback elevated the twins to a whole new level, especially Atsumu. While his setting philosophy initially seemed to be similar to middle school dictator Kageyama, it's actually very different. Because while young Kageyama selfishely tossed and expected his teammates to keep up with whatever he wanted to do without taking them into account, Atsumu takes everything into account : his immense skill of course (which does allow him to be so confident, demanding and arrogant), but also his teammates’ needs and attributes. And only if they fail after that does he loose his cool and scold them, because from his perspective, his extreme care and diligence isn't being rewarded. Unlike middle school Kageyama, Atsumu is not mentally affected by the hatred of his teammates and doesn’t care about it, because from his perspective, his demanding and harsh attitude towards his spikers is totally natural and justified. Atsumu is petty and immature when things don't go his way but that that doesn't mean that he expects things to fall into his lap, it's just that he can't stand the injustice of hard work not being rewarded : and that’s really what his setting philosophy comes down to. And there's a very neat parallel with Oikawa here too, the two setters are sort of kindred spirits in that they value hard work and that they have that insatiable volleyball hunger, which is also shared by the likes of Hinata and Kageyama : pure love and passion for the sport that makes them want to stay on the court. The fact that Atsumu’s brother, Osamu, didn’t have that hunger is sad but thematically very beautiful : in the twins’ backstory it was said that it was Osamu who was the better and more skilled player early on. However, while it is possible that Atsumu was born a volleyball “genius” (like Kageyama), it was largely thanks to his monstruous fighting spirit and hard work (which is in part fueled by the competition with his brother) that he was able to refine his skills and become what he is today : the best highschool setter in Japan.

I've been waiting for you to meet this guy since season one. My favorite part of the season is coming up soon. I wish you'd binge it all just so I could see your reaction to it already 🤣

they did my boy kinoshita very dirty with this episode. firstly setup for his moment was too vague to be noticed and only those with sharpest eye for details notice that something is going on with him. I am not blaming anyone for missing it, i missed it first time too cause of how subtle it was but kinoshita was going down the line of failed underdog story and he was just about to give up thinking he will never acomplish to anything with volleyball in spite of how much he tries. Then he gets his last chance to do something in what might possibly be last match of the year and he fails. Just when you think he can't do anything to contribute he gives noya the push he needed to do overhand receive and they finally score. Noya acknowledge Kinoshita's shout by pointing fingers at him but anime cuts that scene short and goes straight into miya twins backstory making kinoshita's biggest moment a fleeting thought in viewers mind. In manga that moment was the last pannel of last page of a volume meaning people had months to ponder on that scene before they got new material to read which made that moment much more impactful. Kinoshita closed the manga volume where as in anime he is barely noticed by everyone
