I'm not sure but I think the Black Scripture was there to try and recruit powerful people to take back to the Slane Theocracy. They've basically decided the Re-Estize Kingdom is doomed and are trying to steal some of its treasures - powerful warriors - for themselves.

I've been reading the novels the last few weeks and I'm on volume 9 which covers the last part of season 3. What's interesting is that while the Baharuth Empire is overall stronger than the Re-Estize Kingdom they don't have as many super powerful individuals as the Re-Estize Kingdom. The average level of the knights and soldiers in the Empire is much higher than the Kingdom's. Of course most of the super powered individuals don't work for the Kingdom they just live there. Most of them are adventurers. The reason there are so many powerful adventurers in the Re-Estize Kingdom is probably because the Kingdom is so corrupt. The corruption of the Kingdom means it's a more dangerous place than the Empire which creates more job opportunities for adventurers. In the Empire the army which is well trained and well equipped protects their roads and highways from bandits and monsters. In the Kingdom you have to pay for your own protection. Hence more job opportunities for adventurers.

What this means is that if(when?) the Re-Estize Kingdom falls humanity stands to lose a significant percentage of its most powerful champions. No wonder the Slane Theocracy wants to recruit them before that happens.

Against Ainz is such a fake. Yea right he planned everything. Genius. 😅 If you haven’t guessed by now. Ainz is clueless 😁 The problem I have with Overlord is that Ainz is so OP so It becomes hard for me to keep track of all those side characters. Like the guy(with two girls) they meet. I have no idea who he is and In the end it won't matter. Well I like interesting character design so It keeps my interest a bit but does anything they are doing matter in the end?

The first time we saw Zanac I was sus of him but he is a good guy. It's unfortunate. Like you said he was the most decent person around. Fuck Ainz. He only looks for his own pleasure and those of his guardians. Nothing else matters. It’s a good episode for Zanac.

Ya he “spare” the life of the rebellious noble and their family, sending them to torture until they beg for death. I also love witch design. The thing with this show is you have to be desensitized. But I’m too far and I go to the I don’t really care anymore. So I’m just waiting for thing to happen but it’s all meh. Ok Thank you for the reaction Take Care.

For the armor, Ainz did not recognize the armor in particular but the type. The type of armors (power armor) was added as way for new players to be strong from the start and match a bit with the old players (if someone gives it to them or they buy it for $). This explains why a normal human can be that strong. Its mostly just the armor. Nazarick apparently has 3 sets of power armor as well. PS: Red drop = vermilion drop. The subtitles for this season are just garbage in general (like last time saying theocracy instead of holy kingdom)

Well, surprisingly this particular guy matters a bit. At least more than most characters. But I agree that keeping track of what is going on in Season 4 without reading the LN seems almost impossible. The anime just tries to cram too many things into one season.

@Philotes there is that. It seem that they cram so much in the anime that we get short introduction to character then they get killed by Ainz😅 so because of it they seem so expendable we don't have time to care. Even character we know for a while we only see them a short amount of time. The only one we follow is what happening to Ainz and his guardians so it's hard to get attached to other characters

honestly, the nobles couldn't have fucked it up harder if they tried XD so just when Ainz gained some respect for Zanac and considered making it clean & painless (as far as they can, maybe someway even could be convinced to spare them) - the nobles betrayed <> there Ainz liked a little bit and brought him the head with a smile, expecting a reward
