I’m assuming this animation wasn’t as good, since there wasn’t a lot of action this episode. They cut some stuff from the manga with those little kids, I think they went to the mountain to catch bugs, but the little girl followed them while she was there she had to go pee; and that’s where they found the shadow teacher. They’re trying to decrease the shadows numbers before the big fight allowing them to have a better chance at going against haine and Shide. She means that the body haine is using isn’t the original, she’s the shadow of that girl. She’s still the first shadow. Haine’s plan is to go back to her home, not really a Eden just where she’s original from. She’s too weak right now to go back that’s why she’s trying to recover enough to go back. Shinpei wanted to go the priest masahito karakiri to see if he knew of a way to defeat shadows, since that place has been around for a while. Obviously now they know to to defeat shadows, just make sure to pay extra attention next episode since it might be confusing lol

[Intro before episode] Murder his wife. Well the shadow only live 1 week if the original is not destroy So I think there is a good probability that the wife was murder to keep the shadow alive. The only other way is to judge when the wife only has less than a week to live then copy her at the right moment. But it safer to murder her to the shadow survive. It might have seemed like ending her suffering if it made the father feel better. Fair summary

[Nezu]I’m with Nezu here. Making the hard decision that Sou father couldn't. [Why can you just sever it] His wife is already dead. For Nezu that is a shadow and the killer of his wife. [Shinpei the day after] He look so different with his hair down 😋 You might have a point. The art style looks so different from the previous episode. I guess this isn’t an important episode so different animators could have done it. [Killing shadow] The real person is already dead. [Red eyes Ushio]😲 We know Ushio is special but she may be even more powerful than we thought.

The priest has been sus since the beginning. I don’t know what to make of him. My guess is he will be very important to the plot. Hence the cliffhanger.

[After episode] Artstyle I usually don’t notice those things but since you point it out. Yes the art looks crappier than usual. I think they usually have a main animator that does the important part and sub animator that does the rest the boring part. So it might be because this is a minor episode and the important one will be animated by the main animator. I don’t think it’s very important who the shadow they were looking for was. The plan was to eliminate a maximum number of shadows so it’s easier at the festival with less shadow. So they are just people that they know were shadows. The shadow origin was never talked about nor how you get to the eden. This episode as I said earlier it’s only a preparation episode. Nothing much. Ok thank you for the reaction Take Care. 😋
