splat in the light novel Volume 9 Chapter 4, 3 full pages of it. you have no idea how they describe every single detail in the light novel, the anime is just a fraction of it. in the light novel, the human is the worst when killing someone. so if you are against to Ainz, you should read the light novel to understand why Ainz to what he does. love your reaction so much and we will support you no matter your choice to do. just don't take everything personally, remember this is just a show, in real life people kill someone even worse.

Marquis Raeven doesn't treat his wife badly, but they are not in love. They are in a political marriage. He became very appreciative of her for giving him a son, and they managed to live together in content all this time, but he's still not in love with her. Not everyone in Baharuth Empire knows that Ainz is undead. For example, Nimble doesn't know because he did not go inside Nazarick. It's not that the Empire wins every time in a traditional way. The Empire can use professional soldiers, while the Kingdom has to draft peasants. If the Empire can put a strain on the Kingdom by having its peasants fighting instead of farming, that would be a win for the Empire. Plus more people die on the Kingdom's side. Next episode will be nice, before things go downhill again. Your opinion of Ainz would hit rock bottom after that.

The Declaration of War that says that the Kingdom should give back E-Rantel to Ainz came from the Empire. Both sides know that Ainz isnt the rightful owner of E-Rantel, but since the Empire wants to help Ainz to form a Country they just say it and if the Kingdom doesn't accept they go to War. And like DixicratJoe said, not everyone knows that Ainz is undead, just the ones that saw him in Nazarick.

I've read all the light novels up to #14, which was the last one published (in original Japanese). It really is more subtle than just "can they change" No one actually knows if the NPCs of Nazarick can change in a significant way, like fundamentally change who they are as people. Like any normal person in our real world, there shouldn't be anything physically stopping them from developing, but they are unique creations that have come to true life through unknown means, so we don't really know. Their personalities are based around their backstories and the personalities of the players who programmed them, but is that a solid foundation of stone or a malleable foundation of clay? We don't know. There is some evidence that they can learn, adapt, and grow but it's not known at all if an NPC who was designed to be evil can become good, can one designed to be good become evil, can one (Albedo) who was programmed to love Ainz (Momonga) fall out of love with him, can Shaltear learn to control her blood frenzy, can Demiurge learn compassion, etc. Theoretically there shouldn't be anything stopping them from growing and developing as people now that they're not mindless automatons but it's all just conjecture at this point. Albedo originally thought all humans were worthless insects that should be destroyed but last episode she was excited to meet princess Renner, a human woman whom Demiurge actually praised and thinks highly of. Perhaps it is less important to ask if they "can" change and more important to ask if they "will" change even if they are able.

The thing about Ainz is that he is really trying to conquer the world in part so that he can prevent what happened is his world. And I agree, there is nothing wrong with people getting emotional during certain scenes. I got choked up when the shot cut to the two sisters waiting for their sister to get home.

Funfacts about Overlord that is not related to the upcoming episodes (most of these were skipped) Did you know that even if Ainz becomes a normal human, Nabe will still look at him and treat him with utmost respect? This is backed up by the same story above. The noble asked Nabe a lot of questions. In the end, he asks something along the lines of "If Momon was just a normal weak human like me, would you still look at him?" and Nabe said that she and the "others" will look at him the same way. Mare is extremely lazy and unless Ainz himself commands him to do something, he will take the least amount of work possible and quickly finish the job. He likes reading and napping. Despite his appearance, he was actually one of the first NPCs created. This resulted in Bukubukuchagama going nuts and using a lot of guild points to increase Mare's stat cap to the point that he is physically stronger than Albedo, Cocytus and Sebas despite the fact that he is a magic caster. He's also the one who pulled Albedo out of Ainz when she attempted to rape him. Aside from Peroroncino, Yamaiko is the only one in the guild to have heared of Bukubukuchagama's real voice. Cocytus guards the 5th floor. His entire floor is suppose to be snowing but Ainz turned off that feature because the repair cost is too high. Tuare was implied to be pregnant when Sebas bought her to Solution. Solution needed to eat the baby in order to save her as Sebas's order. Tuare also doesnt know that she was pregnant. Bellriver is the first supreme being to have died IRL. Apparently, he learned a really big secret on a company and that got him killed. It is highly speculated that this "big secret" was passed on Ulbert. Sometime later, Ulbert met with Touch Me who actually happens to be a policeman IRL. This upcoming words is just a theory of many (still a theory regardless) but it is highly theorized that the one who killed Bellriver or at least hushed up the investigation is Touch Me given by the fact that the world they live in is so corrupt. If this is true, then this might be the reason why he is big on justice ingame, because he cant have that IRL. It also begs the question, what happened to Ulbert after that. Ainz's real world is fucked up. WW3 happened, a lot of the good food costs a ton of money, the air outside their houses is so poisonous that they needed gas mask to go out and some of their body parts were replaced by machines. They couldnt even see the sun, moon and stars anymore and the only way to see them is by playing fantasy games. Since the sun isnt present, all the plants that should've been absorbing carbon dioxide all died. Eversince the big coorporations took over, the quality of education is so low that being able to graduate from elementary is their definition of success. Ainz's father died from overwork and his mother died before finishing making his favorite meal. If Ainz was made into another race other than a skeleton, I bet he would splurge a little on Nazarick's top quality foods. Ainz and Ulbert are both in the same situation since both of his parents died as well. Ulbert's parents were never even buried underground because he is so busy working. If Ulbert doesnt show up to work for one day, they will fire him. Getting fired from their world is a literal death sentence and nobody wants that so they bend down and accept being treated like trash. People who are fulfilled in their life like Touch Me who has wealth, a beautiful wife and kids is actually a rarity in their world. It got so bad that a lot of people living in their world including Ainz pretty much denied the reality that they are in and instead made whatever fantasy games that they're playing as their "new reality". He treasures the people that he meets to escape his shitty world. This is why Ainz thinks of Nazarick highly beyond any logical reason and would do anything for it. To him, this is his home, his own version of "reality". This is also the reason why Ulbert is so obsessed of being a devil, because this is how he sees the world he is living right now, full of corruption and injustice. You know whats even worse? If some part of the worker episodes doesn’t get to you then I find it hard to believe that person has a soul. And just some advice? You might want to avoid reading YouTube comments too much, and if you do happen to read uselessly negative stuff (like the whole childish thing over whether or not you’d cry) then a better thing to do is ignore it. Trolls thrive on attention. This doesn’t mean you should ignore helpful and constructive criticism - but if someone is clearly just trying to upset you the worst thing to do is let them know they succeeded.

This was nice, if a show is going to be dark and heavy it's good to get a break now and again. Pro tip when Pandoras actor is playing Ainz he's eyes dont glow, also he's flamboyant/overdramatic. Splat is later. Apologises for the next episode, they reaaaally botched it, with the cgi and the way it's presented. Still cool though.

you know, been a really sentimental person like you and wanting couples and all that. You should totally watch animes like clannad or nagi no asukara. You know those genres that are "relationship" animes but they make you cry and they so deep. Really good anime genres
