The reason Renner wanted to marry Raevens son is because nobles marrying a commer like Climb would get her a lot of hate ,so the marriage would be a farce . That way she could secretly be with Climb

Hey, I know you're looking for a new anime to watch soon and I'd just like to recommend March comes in like a lion. It's an amazing anime! (ranked #9 top all time on myanimelist.net) The main theme is depression, and over coming it. It's has very realistic characters and excellent character development. No knowledge of shogi is necessary. It's also on Netflix. ps: cute cat

Please don't be too hard on Ainz for saying what he said to Sebas. There were a few clues why Ainz was not who he appeared to be. It's not revealed in the Anime, but I don't want to spoil you in case you are going to watch the Ple Ple Pleiades side story.

You will learn more about the Royal Faction vs. Noble Faction and how the Re-Estiz Kingdom works in the 3rd season. The maids serving the princess are daughters of nobles, and they spy on her for the Noble Faction. That's why the Second Prince didn't want fruit water brought to him and expose their meeting. The Eight Fingers has several nobles in their pocket, like that fat constable Sebas killed in the previous episode. Zero from the Six Arms was talking about contacting a count to free Succulent in the previous episode. There was a big red Eight Fingers symbol on the ransom note in case you missed it. I think if a princess marries a noble, she would have his land under her title? In those days, land = money = power.

Victim was brought there as part of the precaution against Sebas if he turned out to be a traitor. Its death can give enemies massive movement debuff. Cocytus has the highest physical attack and was ready to strike down Sebas. Solution was at the door to prevent escape.

Koda is so cute. And the anime cuts a lot of smaller but still important things out. So take that as you will. I'd recommend the light novels if you ever want to, but know that the anime is basically Overlord lite in comparison.

It might be a good thing that NPC's cannot learn new things in this case. Tuare can cook and she can learn to be a better cook. NPC's cannot cook unless they have skill points designated for cooking. Ainz tried to teach an NPC to cook, and no matter how many times she tried, she always burned the steak to a crisp. I think Sebas was removed as the leader of the Pleiades because he will have other duties. Demiurge doesn't want to put Tuare to work in his stockyard so he could kill her, but it would still further traumatize her. There is a lot of twisted things in Demiurge's "Happy Farms" if you want to look it up. Shalltear and Solution got nothing on Demiurge when it comes to evilness.

I know the end scene is a little bit confusing. Albedos settings was changed to "is deeply in love with Momonga". Albedo hates Ainz Ooal Gown, they left them and Momonga. The banner on the ground was the banner of Ainz Ooal Gown, the banner on the wall was that of Momonga. But it's never explained in the anime. So no spoiler.

As far as I get it you gave a pretty good breakdown on the politics part between the marquis, the prince and Renner, so...good job! 👍 I get that you'd want Ainz to be more trusting, and nicer and.... well, if he was he would be the hero of the story, not the villain. Ainz top priority seems to be a) safe and b) at the top of the food chain, probably in that order...so the stronger & ,more useful his "assets" are, the tighter he pulls the leash and the closer he watches their loyalty... In a novel I once read one of the characters was pretty similar in his mindset (and also going insane as time went on, but that's another story) & in one passage that power >< safety conflict got described pretty well: One side of him wants to nurture his force's strenght, so they can serve him better, while the other urges him to destroy everything that might threaten him, if taken to extremes ripping out the heart of his power base, at least that's how I understand Ainz obsession with loyalty.
