Nighteye seems to be - maybe due to his quirk - someone who's playing the long game and is more willing to make sacrifices now if he thinks it's going to be for a greater benefit later on... and maybe he's not as "selfish", as you say it, as you think he is...so he sees: Allmight stays active while searching/training his sucessor ---> he dies horribly in 6/7 years, horrible enough. But he can't see the future of his potential sucessor (who he didn't know back then); so who's to say that guy will be ready by then? What if he, like, is half-ready, tries to take over and just dies, taking One-For-All to the grave with him and leaving the world without a Symbol of Peace? He knows how good Allmight is, so could just be him playing it safe. Not saying that IS how it is, just an alternative viewpoint 🙂

This is getting interesting. The show is growing in depth. It's getting darker and smarter like Overlord. Btw can you check out your PO Box before the next Overlord video?

They set Mirio up to be All Might's intended successor and the future No.1 hero at the moment. Which is concerning since we know Deku is the no.1, making us wonder what happens to Mirio later on.

Well, you either could think that he dies and thats why he dosne't becomes the No.1 or just becasue Deku gets better then him. I think latter is the reason why Mirio doesn't becomes the No.1.
