MA Art Style Preview: Karissa! (Patreon)

If you're all caught up on the new style stuff going on for MA, then let's get right into it!

Today's preview will feature Karissa! One of the few teachers we meet during MA, first seen during Episode 3. She's very much has a older sister vibe to how she comes across to teaching and relating with students, taking a easy going approach.

Starting with the direct comparison. Both expressions are the exact same, trying to give everyone the best impression of how the new style changes things directly. Not a lot was needed for Karissa, mainly just her eyes being updated and her nose. 

One thing some of the earliest sprites needed was changes made to their body shading, since we had a much more sharp, cel-shaded look to some early sprites vs later ones. Karissa of course didn't come around into the game until Ren'py.

Let's get into the expressions!

23 expressions for Karissa will be featured in-game! We did cut out her old "Winking" expression, but we added the new "Horny" one and made some light adjustments to previous expressions to feel a bit more fitting.

Besides her new style previewed today, we also have 2 additional things that wraps up Karissa's sprite... New outfits additions!

The outfit on the left is another underwear set that Karissa wears. While on the right is her diaper design! :O

That's right! Karissa is receiving her very own diaper! If you can't make out the details, she has a dolphin on the front and the wings feature sea life. Perhaps this has something to do with her interests that we haven't had the chance to learn more about yet? :P

When will we see Karissa wearing her diaper? Well, some fixes are being applied to the academy rules and quality fixes to the story, mainly minor aspects.. But one of these is the diaper rules will also apply to teachers and staff by default, alongside it already being applied to students. We'll see this in action in-game and the quality fixes applied to the game with v0.21 onward.
