I'd like to share the first half of some GUI changes and updates being made to MA with 2022! This will be a short post, but I hope to hear what the general thoughts and reactions are with this. ^^

While getting the finalized gui assets figured out and after seeing what Messy Studios logo ended up turning out like. (As we can see that above too) I noticed that the game's logo could use a update to make it look a bit nicer, but the main worry I had with wanting to update the existing game logo that many fans and supporters have grown used to in the years of development was that a new design would be a huge change. <.<

I mainly wanted to have the game's logo not so much overhauled, but rather making subtle touches that are different than the original logo, but when comparing it side by side it wouldn't feel like a massive new design.

The general color themes used originally would still be used, much of how the original design felt could be retained, so on! I wanted to make sure it felt fresh and polished, but still being familiar with everyone who's used to the original design to lean into this one.

One thing I will say now, is that ideally this preview image is a early rough look at what the title screen would look like. (Minus the team logo in the corner) But we might make use of a different background image or possibly have a a little banner to help make the title logo pop a bit better without feeling like it's blending into the background image. ^^"

We still have to hold off a tiny bit longer to begin seeing some of the new gui assets and mock up screenshots for how that'll look. But it's possible that the title screen as a whole will not look like the above preview as there's still changes being made for screens like the title screen as a whole to offer a much more smooth, polished look to MA.

Again, we'd love to hear initial reactions or thoughts with how things are looking so far for some gui assets being updated and seen above! ^^
