Howdy folks! Been a minute.

This past month I haven't been doing a whole lot of 2D animating or poking at Flash in general. Helixftr as a whole has kind of been put to the side for a bit while, instead, I've been focusing a lot more on 3D and learning Blender instead.

You may have noticed on my twitter and FA pages that I have been posting a ton of renders this past month; I've been pretty happy with the majority of them! And with how things are going, I feel like I'm on my way to making some half-decent actual vore animations as well. So far, all I've really managed to do is make some simple loops.

I apologize for folks that are waiting on Flash stuff; I've just had such a more enjoyable time learning Blender and stretching my brain a little than stewing over the same animations I've been poking and prodding at this whole time. Helixftr/Barbftr is still special in that there are precious few other games out there like it, and few other game systems offer such an easy way to add in enemies and make animations, and so on. But I've been messing with it off and on for god knows how long now. And fortunately, a lot of my skills in Flash, it also being a tweened/computer interpolated animation style, transfer well over to Blender. It's been really exciting! But I do feel like I've been neglecting my duties to y'all, the folks who have joined the patreon for Flash updates.

I plan to try to get back to work in Flash this month and hopefully get at least Sandoval done; no promises, though.

Ideally I want to get to a point with Blender that I can make and adjust avatars for VRC or Resonite, create background props, so on and so forth; but it's still a long ways away.

As always, thank you all for your continued support.

I've just been doing this to support you a little as a creator. If you wanna play with a new creative tool, like blender; Please, do! I've enjoyed watching you get better at all the things, and my hope is that once you're confident enough in your art, and animation skills, and feel confident with a diverse enough toolset, that you also feel confident enough to make a full fledged game. And I also hope, that when you do make one, you don't think it has to be vore based, just because everyone knows you as the silly vore birb what's good at animations and stuff. I hope you have a blast making a truly fun game! (Just keep us posted!)

That's great! I've seen your 3D stuff, and I think they are STUNNING! I'm here for the long run, so just explore what makes you happy! We're all here to support you! Not just for the rewards.
