If you guys are still confused about the butler, here is a clarification. The butler made a deal with the demon in his past life to get unlimited food, and went to hell after the 10 years was up. He was then reincarnated into the current day butler. He was about to kill himself when Gu won offered him a new deal. Before He made a new deal he regained his memories from his past life, and then fought with gu won because of the hell he went thru because of him. He never made a new deal with gu won, and somehow ended up as a his employee instead.

This is one of my fav episodes because it really started the rollercoaster ride for the “suspense” train 😮‍💨. It breaks my heart that Madam Ju died because she quickly became one of my fav characters and i loved seeing her and Do-Hee together.

Yea just don’t try to think too much about it honestly.When it comes to the butler he was the guy from the very first episode with the fish. That is correct. We saw him going to town eating and then died & was chased by demon fish in hell lmao. But in Ep2 they showed who the Butler was BEFORE he worked for Gu Won. He ran a restaurant that wasn’t doing so well so he was trying to ‘end himself’. Gu Won appeared, offered a deal and the man agreed. But when he pricked his finger with the pen to sign in his blood(just like in his past life), he got flashes of that life( I think because it was the exact same pen). That’s when he started cursing Gu Won out for trying to get him caught up again. But as someone mentioned ^^ instead of signing the new contract they “bonded” more or less and now he is one of Gu Won’s human companions.

To answer your question no she does not have any powers. She just has helps him use his powers for now and u would understand how he could get his powers back if u remember what she did for him 😉 and yes he's her guardian. The butler was the fish dude in his first life then in his second he remembered 😂 so he got mad but now he serves him. And cutting off her arm would be a good idea 💡 🤔 but how would u keep the arm fresh 🤔 Kevin should sing the ost. He's good

Hey guys, I think it might be cultural/religious differences, but most Asia countries that believe in Buddhism, Taoism and the like believe that after your loved ones pass away, they will return in the form of butterflies and moths to check up on their loved ones. It's not really reincarnation but just checking up on their family before they move on to their afterlife.
