I know you guys were confused about whether Seungri was directly involved with any of this before watching this because so many people online insist on his innocence. But if you really want to know it’s really not hard at all to find out if you do your own research so I can tell you with confidence that the ones defending him know damn well what he’s done or they even refuse to do said research because they’re convinced he could never do that lmao. And then of course you have the others that admit they know what he’s done but think he deserves forgiveness now. I mean I was basically a fan of all four celebrities involved (FTIsland Choi Jonghoon, Drug Restaurant Jung Joon Young (aka JJY), BigBang Seungri and CNBLUE Lee Jonghyun) and I still remember when they were revealed to the public. Of course I was shocked but I’m not delusional enough to believe that I know them personally or something and let that convince me of their innocence. I know it was in the first part but Stephanie was saying Seungri might be trying to make a comeback in the entertainment scene and you were asking if he had released any new music. Personally I doubt he’s even trying to do that in the first place but even if that were the case I don’t think it would be as a singer but rather as a TV personality. Speaking of which the term the great Gatsby of Korea is definitely not an understatement to describe him pre-controversy. He was very successful with his businesses. So unfortunately I don’t think he’s suffering that much from the aftermath at all, I’m guessing he’s still heavily involved with multiple businesses, probably still making a lot of money and he’s seemingly still supported by his family. I also want to point out a minor detail I disagreed with in this video. Stephanie repeatedly said those celebrities had wholesome images but as someone who was a fan of basically all 4 of them that honestly was never the case. Jung Joon Young (JJY) especially was known for being rather wild essentially, Seungri much like the rest of Bigbang didn’t have a wholesome image either (did people forget about that one sex scandal around 2012 for example? 👀), you get the gist. Another small detail, Stephanie said Choi Jonghoon was the singer of FTIsland, that is not correct as he was their guitarist (and he played the keyboard as well). The singer you guys maybe remember from the suggested videos a while ago is Lee Hongki (my profile picture). Just want to clear that up in case there was any confusion. I actually still remember when Choi Jonghoon‘s involvement was revealed people were going after Lee Hongki too but the reporter (?) who released it refuted it immediately. Sexual violence is quite common in South Korea, they have a huge misogyny problem after all. There's an existing rape culture, meaning a society where sexual violence and abuse is normalised. I’m not saying that all Korean men are like that but it’s definitely a scary amount. Like when the Nth Room Case got exposed a few years ago and people demanded the list of the identities of the chat room members (around 260.000) to be made public. One of the concerns was that it was estimated that almost every single citizen would recognize at least one of them, be it a family member, a friend, a colleague… Sadly predators are everywhere.

i am not a fan of bigbang but i just kinda watched some of their vids if it showed up on my tl and man when this case cameup i got so much feed on my tl about them and i came across a short clip of one of the band members singing/rapping about suelgri and his bad friends so yea the band didnt know the whole burning sun thing but they deffinetely knew he was going down the wrong path
