When you were a child, your village was raided, and soon afterwards, you were made into a slave. You performed hard labour on a daily basis. Your master, being a cold-hearted man, would occasionally make you fight in the pits to win him coin. Despite all this, you continued to be unbroken in spirit, sometimes even daring to stand up for the other slaves.

This continued until last week, when you and many other human slaves were freed by monster-people from a neighbouring kingdom. These monster-people were part of the Freedom Movement – their aim was to end human slavery. You were then put into the back of a large cart, and given a choice: go and forge your own way, or go with them to the Sanctuary Adoption Guild, where many monster-ladies had made applications for adopting humans in need.

You chose the latter, as you were promised a good life, freedom, and a lot of respect. Nobody had ever doted on you before, and you were curious…

~~~~~~~~
The one who adopts you is a tiger-woman named Kura. She brings you to your new home - a treetop village situated inside a massive, open-air cave.
Here, you will begin your new life…
💌 Thank you to Phil’s Enjoyment, who wrote the outline. Phil messaged me and asked for the other characters from this month’s poll to receive mentions in this audio, with Amandine the arachne tailor having a short scene at dinner time! The dullahan bookseller, Amandine, the bee queen, and Sameeba the fire genie, have all contributed greatly to the Freedom Movement. NO MORE HUMAN SLAVES! 😠🏃🏻‍❌🐝🕷🐅🧞🐎
I'd love a continuation of this plot of the whole freedom movement, working with all of those people and talking after dangerous missions etc.
There are definitely many possibilities that could come from backstories, side stories, new tasks, etc!
I swear, the way Cadence can make multiple, distinguishable characters in a single audio is awesome. Getting bombarded by cute "rawrs" made my heart melt, haha. Also, props for the proposer of this audio. It was an enjoyable story.
