[A] Space-Vampirate Captain Nightshade x Suave Smuggler Listener

You have been put in an isolation pod and jettisoned into the far reaches of space, as punishment for stealing a star map for a restricted sector of the galaxy. Some time later your pod is opened...but what’s this? You’re on the deck of a space-faring pirate ship. You are confronted by the space-vampirate Captain Nightshade, and her undead crew. Though you are frightened, you decide to turn on the charm with Captain Nightshade, who is so impressed by your methods of seduction that she offers to dock at a space-minigolf course where you two have your first date. She offers you a place in her crew, and you make plans to steal back the star map.

[B] The Adventurous Outlaw Thieves

You were both apprehended on a trip that involved stealing and delivering a clutch of hydra eggs to a rival kingdom, and incriminated for ‘conspiracy against the crown and transporting highly illegal materials.’ However, your beloved partner managed to escape, and has now used her skill in illusion magic to sneak inside the prison to break you out, as you are due to be executed in two days. You then use your abilities for remaining undetected to escape. Afterwards, you celebrate your success by detonating crates of fireworks in the mansion of the king who had imprisoned you.

[C] Mage/Hacker Molly x Drone Pilot Listener

You have succeeded in breaking your fellow mage/hacker partner out of technomagical stasis, by sending your drones to incapacitate the fire elemental guards of the detention centre. Molly’s appearance is very different – she is now a strange, colossal, humanoid-bear hybrid. She gives you a bone-crushing hug, then explains how the plans to steal an experimental werebear drug went awry. You use your commlink to make a connection to the rest of your group, who treat you both with kindness and support, and say that you should return to your secret hideout (a medieval-tavern-themed bar) soon. Sounds: fan buzzing, technology and magic noises, hacking, fur brushing, heavy doors.

[D] Confederacy Agent (Aleisha) x Risk-Taking Smuggler Listener (Gordon)

Stealing the First Lord’s crown had gone flawlessly. Unfortunately, you were betrayed by your erstwhile allies who left you and Aleisha behind so they didn’t have to split the reward. Aleisha managed to get away while you spent a week in prison, being starved and interrogated... <time passes> The door to your cell opens, and you are relieved and surprised to see Aliesha’s beautiful face. She was able to sneak in with a stealth suit, and is now here to guide you out of the prison. You then lay low in an abandoned apartment, and have a mini feast and a little date.

[E] Super Wife x Super Listener

Your wife is a sound manipulation and flight-powered super, and you are a super with enhanced strength, reflexes, and ability to learn rapidly. You were caught making a diversion for your wife to escape with The Codex, the oppressive government’s top secret and unique list of all supers. After she busts you out of confinement, she flies you up under the Liberty City Bridge to your favourite date spot. You have a pleasant picnic sitting in an alcove under the bridge, listening to the sound of water and birds as the traffic sounds of the city fade into night. You then plan to steal the greatest prize of all: your young child, who was the highest level super ever tested.
