My nana adores the monarchy and I always get so confused when she talks about it. She absolutely hates Megan Markle (Queue Eurovision Reference). I honestly feel a bit embarrassed by our royal family and what it has come to represent. When you think about it, what does the UK really bring to the table? NOTHING. Also something that happened this week, my mums friend coloured the hair of Frankie from the Saturdays, and later this week we’re going to see Alanis Morissette at the O2.

Olympia & Nova - I’ve been a Patreon now for a while and honestly I adore you both so much! I’ve binged listened to so many Full Of It’s while I’m redecorating our new house so just catching up with all the comments I wanted to make! I love the true crime and the ones about your close friends/family/uni/life (mainly because I’m a nosy cow!). It always makes me smile how highly you talk of Meg-Anne Robinson. I’d love a pod about your friendships with her and Char. Love them both. I also loved your Royale Family episode. The Queen of Sheba episode is the only piece of film/TV that makes me bawl like a child. I also used to work at Clarks during uni on the kids department fitting shoes so I feel your pain. My family watched the Jubilee for the spectacle more than anything, as Americans we can take or leave the queen. My mom adores Diana however for her charity work in Bosnia. I must have tuned in at a particularly gay section of the show seeing Adam Lambert then Vanity Milan walking in a runway show. Also I insist you tell me where you obtained that beautiful Kath Day-Knight shirt from the Bart video!

I remember my mum and my sister being obsessed with the Royals back then but that was mainly because of Diana and all the conspiracies surrounding her death. They're all really just entertainers with massive salaries I guess. Also, thoroughly enjoyed listening to the boerf of you - as per usual. <3

Love the episode! I would kill to look at the full investment/real estate portfolio of The Crown Estate, the company that the British Monarchy funds itself through as well as the Queen's personal finances. After the overturning of Roe V. Wade here in the states, I'm in a very burn all of the conservative institutions of the world down and give power back to he people kind of mood.

Hello girls I hope the hotel was fabulous on your trip to Disney Paris Hilton. You know I love a good berrrrrf (I knew I should have patterned that word) but Is it horrible that I obSESS over these people? I understand they are involved in a great number of charities and Philanthropic work, BUT, other than turning up to certain events and cutting cakes and standing all day, they didn’t do much else do they? The Royals are absolutely fascinating, but also incredibly good for travel to the UK and the fact that they exist are incredibly marketable. Their houses are places of literal history, their jewelry pieces are constantly on display, their pictures sell for thousands. I imagine they stimulate the economy so the United Kingdom in a great number of ways that most people don’t realize, but what do I know im a Yank. As people, the only one I really care for that’s alive is the queen herself, as she is a relic from the great war, and princess Anne, because she is a royal who actually really cares. The young ones I don’t really care about. I imagine that once her majesty is gone the interest in the royal family will dip quite significantly, possibly dismantling the entire monarchy. Anyway enough of that depressing shit I’m finally out of a crap situation and thank you for being here with me and keeping me entertained! 💚💜
