Okay, so, we've got a bit of ground to cover here. I don't do these nearly often enough.

First and foremost, once again, I apologize for being as behind as I am. Shit's dumb, I'm dumb, trouble focusing, too many ideas, etc. That being said, nobody has been forgotten, all commissions will be getting done, I promise.

Secondly and to a similar end: Commission prices will be going up soon.

I always hate doing this because you guys have worked me into a schedule on a regular basis and it feels dickish to come in and upset that, but I also have to be fair to myself. Based on my increasing skill level and the increase in various obligations I have, my time is being stretched thinner and is becoming more costly as a result. I feel like the best way to make this work  is to give a heads-up and try to let everyone prepare.

New prices are as follows:

Three-chords: 60$

1-character: 100$

2-character: 160$

3-character: 220$

These price changes will not go into effect until MAY 2021, so anyone who is currently on one of these tiers will get at least one more commission at the current price.

Additionally, anyone who has already been on one of these tiers for 3 months (since the January 2021 billing cycle) will be given an additional 2 months at their original price point.

I completely understand if you can't afford to make the jump in price. Like I said, I always feel like a dick for doing it and I don't want to deprive long-time fans of the service they've become accustomed to getting from me, but for my own sanity, to help reduce my backlog, and to help edify my own financial stability, I really do need to do this.

Third thing:

As of the last attempt to send out physical copies of my comics, I ran into more complications than I realized; getting shipping labels printed, figuring out postage (especially for overseas shipping), and packaging effectively was way more headache and came with way more hiccups than I was prepared for.

I don't want to get rid of this perk; I love the idea of physical hard-copies of my work for you guys to keep, collect, and enjoy, but it's honestly just not feasible for me to do it at this point. The inconsistency of completion has made it a pretty bad value proposition for those paying in, and the exorbitant costs of safely transporting it, especially overseas, makes it a less-than-ideal value proposition for me as well.

To that end, I've been searching around for an on-demand publisher who will allow NSFW work. I believe I may have found a couple of options and will be looking into them. If they manage to work out, then I'll be able to publish the books on there and offer a coupon code for 100% off to patrons, allowing you all to 'purchase' a copy at your own discretion, allowing the website to handle packaging and distribution.

I really hope this will work out, but if you guys have any suggestions for other things that I could do with regards to the 5 and 10$ tier slots, I would be happy to hear them, additionally any other information you might have about publishers and/or printers who could make this process easier for me would also be a huge boon.

Okay, I think that's it for the updates. Please, don't be afraid to reach out to me with questions, comments, or suggestions of any kind. I need to get back to work; new posts coming soon.

Be excellent to each other.

High res files and access to the source files is good enough for me.

Never, ever feel bad about raising prices, your time and skill are valuable to us, and if someone wishes to disrespect you or demean your effort by complaining about it, they can go suck an egg.

I am aware that I shouldn't, but I do anyways because doormat. It's an innate tendency I have to fight back against because I know it's bad for me.

just wondering, which comics have you done physical copies of so far?

Bakuhaku

so far, only Waste Not and Kingdom Cum have gotten physical releases. I've got a couple of others like the Dragon Prince one and the first chapter of Gates of Hell that *could* be released, but again, I wanna find a better venue for doing it before I commit to more print runs.

$45 for 3-chords was a super great deal. $60 is honestly pretty good still!

honestly yours aren't the best barometer because I have kinda-sorta gone overboard as hell on several of yours :P
