Haven’t listened to this episode yet but just wanted you gals to know you’ve really been getting me through quarantine. I’m a grad student who was struggling with panic attacks and suicidal thoughts. Listening to this pod has helped, among other things. I can’t kill my self, something retarded might happen 💕

Your meme doesn't have a dollar value if its heart is pure. Also I just remembered the first time I read about art on the blockchain (some lesser-known rap album iirc) I thought the artist was literally selling some part of the royalties to specific components of his songs like verses and instruments. Like I thought it was like if I bought the rights to "Speak to the manager", and Anna said it on this episode, I would get 0.00452 cents. Amazing. When I then found out blockchain's all CPU bro shit instead I was furious. Fastforward and now I own no NFTs and ate noodles for dinner

Truly sorry to hear. I don’t know where you stand in terms of Faith, and it may sound empty and depressing now but have you asked Jesus for help? Just keep him in mind when you’re in those dark places. He actually does love you, and it’s not empty superstition. Listen to Rene Girard speak if you need an intellectual “in”. Also Hannah Arendts chapter On Forgiveness. Don’t give up!

Just wanted to say that Kaws started out as a collector and comes from a lot of money and due to buying so much art from high end galleries he was able to convince galleries to start showing his art which ended up being his trajectory to fame.....I hate him with all my being and this particular soyboy deserves no love and I just felt like the masses needed to know he has absolutely no redeeming qualities. This epi was so amazing tho and I am about to listen to it a second time to get all the juiciness from it 💜

Patronage, at times in the past, has produced great art but today it lets those in the rich people club (and its aspirants) believe that "tampon in a tea cup" art is original and revolutionary.

Sad that we've "advanced" to the point where someone not wanting to embed a microchip in their hand that opens locked doors and phones TurboTax to declare 100% of your tip income is almost virtuous

Oh, it's Spike and not Spiked?! That makes more sense.

Yo talk to malice or moldbug, the banal liberals who want a safety net to replace their daddies is reductive and not transgressive at all.

God I really tried listening to this, I did, more than once. But I really could care less about Bitcoin or money in general. And that guy speaks way too soft and low. :(
