I don't think women and gays are the main consumer base of media, is just that we happen to live in a more democratic and diversified media environment in which everyone and everything is visible, so therefore women and the Alphabet gang and POC and WOC are more visible now than ever before. Sarah Everard’s death has felt Laura Palmer-esque and creepy, and of course there’s lots of middle class white women who are loving the chance to get the narrative back onto them (lol)- but largely it’s highlighted how the police/gov are using covid as a reason to stop us gathering outside full stop. The vigil was socially distanced and the police just strongarmed their way in creating an aggressive atmos bc of “covid reg” Basically many of us (men too) are concerned about the bill the tories are trying to put thru this week to stop us protesting or even gathering- or doing anything considered even a slight annoyance. Which would be obviously bad whether you think protests have gay aesthetics or not 😈 I feel like Americans already come up against brutal force if you try to unionise, protest or anything but here we’re still trying to cling on to those rights (by one hang nail none the less)

rest assured a lot of pregnancy weight is from like the fact that your blod volume increases. you pregnancy weight gain is barely perceptible and will fall off within the first few months of post partum. esp if you choose to breastfeed.

Anna and Dasha correctly identified Anna's dream as archetypal -- it was a precognitive dream about the massage parlor killings that took place a few days later. The dream's serial killer had the MO of going around, throwing Asian girls off balconies. That is like the motive of so-called 'incel' murderers -- they want to punish women for their 'lofty' attitudes, or to 'knock them off their high perches.' In the dream Anna is digging around a party of some sort for clues or remnants of the murder. This parallels that period after a mass killing, in which the media and the internet at large rifle through the killer's publicly and private information.

There's a secondary Puella theme, as Anna and Dasha are both Puellas transitioning out of identification with the archetype. Being knocked off a balcony onto terra firma parallels the 'crash' of an airy, unconscious Puella into the Earth, not dissimilar from the Fool in the tarot. It should be noted and commended, though, that Anna and Dasha aren't crashing into the Earth -- they are coming down to the earth of their own accord.

I'm listening from BC and the Vancouver police have said since Covid-19, anti-Asian hate crimes have multiplied x10, and hate crimes in general (more true to what Anna and Dasha said) have doubled. I agree about the analysis re: structural racism, and they might be right about NYC, but they're dead-ass wrong from my coast.

East Asia is at least trying. compare what India has done for it's poor compared to the success China has done - and btw rejecting religious bigotry along the way. In India where they believe if you are born poor you deserve to be poor - according to Hindu doctrine, you will be re-incarnated according to your behaviour in your previous life.
