Hello fiends!

As longtime Patrons know, there has been a global shortage on paperstock leading to the original base paper for this project getting discontinued.

I found a substitute from a different company, but then that paper as well was discontinued.

Now I have found a new steady supply, and so with the start of Booke III (the month after next) we will start using the new stock.

In the photo above I have an example of the original paper (left), the new stock (middle), and the discontinued replacement (right).

Switching paper mid-project was certainly never the plan, but hopefully this new paper will meet with your approval. When we begin Booke III I will share some aging techniques that could be employed by anyone looking to smooth the transition. As always, I encourage you to add extra aging and distress to make your copy unique.

Thank you for your continued support!

The mix of paper is negligible. If you never had mentioned something, I don't think any one on a cursory level would notice. Some of my quires are printed out of order and and I can't tell looking overall. Fwiw, your pre-aging is working well and after we get done on our own, it'll be non-issue to an already non-issue.
