Hello! Hope everyone's doing well.

Now that I was finally able to finish that last comic, I can finally talk about future changes with peace of mind.

So currently, I'm taking a break from monthly sketches, both to have a bit more time to myself, but also to work on pending comic commissions. This break will last until either January or February.

After some thought, and some feedback from patrons, I've decided to make some changes after my break:

- Monthly sketches won't be monthly anymore. Instead, I'll only be taking sketch suggestions once every two months. So for example, if I want to keep some of the holiday months active for suggestions, these would be the active months: February, April, June, August, October, December. If a holiday month gets skipped this way, Ill make the following month themed after that holiday, or more than one holidays in case they meet.

- Since sketch suggestions will happen less often, I'll compensate it by focusing on drawing more sequences/comics. Of course, this means that I'll actually have to follow my own rule of only taking 10 or less suggestions by month, or else I'll most probably burn out like I have now. So basically, I'll focus on quality over quantity on the amount of suggestions I'll draw.

- I'll be creating a more expensive tier from January and on. It's mostly for people that would be willing to pledge a bigger amount if they can and want. Right now I don't have many thoughts on what I can offer as an exclusive reward for that tier, but I was thinking somehthing along the lines of:

*Doing monthly YCH for them, as in, they choose any already drawn sketch, and they ask me which characters to draw for the situation. It would only be once per month of course.

*Request more complete stories for a sketch of their choice. I'm quite aware that I don't write too much for some of the stories of some of the sketches. It's mostly because I barely know the characters, or I don't have much personal interest in the characters. I think this could work as a reward, as long as the patron tells me more about the character, and maybe tell me how they want the story to go.

* Requesting a sketch to have more parts...it COULD be a possibility...but I also have shown that I havent even added new parts to that N sketch I brought up before. It could be a reward, but I'll confirm it once I accomplish that goal, and see how it goes.

* Another thing that could be done is to show them progress on other projects I might be working.

* Early access to stuff...I don't know, I dont think that'll be likely, I wouldn't want that to be taken away from patrons of the lower tier.

Monthly commissions was too much for me to handle when I was doing that years ago. If I were to bring them back at some point, It would be a MUCH more expensive tier, for the sake of time and effort that it would take, and would probably be one of those tiers that have a limited access, as in, only a certain amount of people can access it.

I'll try to figure out what to other things I could offer. If you have any suggestions, let me know!

But yeah, that's all I wanted to inform right now. Just letting you guys know in advance, so you have time to decide if you want to stick around, or sto pledging eventually with the new rewards system, which would be completely understandable.

Thank you for your support, thank you for your patience, thank you sticking around, thank you for everything you've done for me. Hope you keep on enjoying my content, and hope you have a nice week.

(FYI - I changed my Patreon name from PipthePuffin to BiscuitBox and got my cute tiger avatar thingie on here. 🐯) You've produced some of your best sequences ever over the past few months! I agree that emphasising sequences over normal sketches is a good move - I tend to like them regardless of what characters you choose and they're better for crafting stories and showing off your creativity. As far as adding a more expensive tier goes, the main thing is not to fall into the trap of overcommitting as you already have a lot on your plate getting the coloured-pic backlog under control. You'd have to limit the number of slots very tightly if you make it fancy. If there's a lot of demand, you could try to rotate it so everyone interested gets a turn, though that might be more bureaucracy than it's worth. I'd definitely be interested in an extra tier regardless of what's offered! Hope you enjoy your break, you deserve it! ❤️
