April 2023 Sketches 20 - Loqi (Final Fantasy XV)(Sequence) (Patreon)

Here's a sequence featuring Loqi from Final Fantasy XV. The idea was suggested by Shin.

"Loqi from Final Fantasy XV: I was feeling in the mood for a more arrogant giant so I thought it would be fun to return to the Loqi well! After taking over the Empire and bringing the entire continent under his rule, Loqi sets his sights on conquering the kingdoms of distant continents, sending messages to each ruler and demanding they surrender to him. Outraged (and with no knowledge of what Loqi has already accomplished and become), the various kings gather the full force of their armies and travel to Eos to show this upstart exactly what forces he's dealing with... only to be greeted by the colossal Loqi, body almost entirely on display as only bits of armor and kingly raiment decorate his body, his head blocking the sun and ringed with light, the godly sight killing any appetite any of the various rulers and their armies have for confrontation... though judging by the earth quaking rumbles from Loqi's enormous belly, his appetite still needs to be satisfied."

1. After such a ridiculous request from this so called "Loqi", all the kings and queens of the kingdoms involved sent a massive fleet of warships! Prepared to show the might of several kingdoms united!

The ships menacingly approached the region where Loqi's empire was, the generals keeping an eye of their way...but it didn't take too long to stop their tracks, as a MASSIVE obstacle got in their way...And so they met this so called "Loqi" in person, his height reaching the clouds, and his body compared to a whole landmark!

The gigantic king smugly looked down at the puny warships, who was eagerly waiting for them to receive them in his own Loqi way.

2. The seas shifted as Loqi crouched, then BOOM, massive waves were created as he went on his fours...and started sucking up the sea! The warships, not having much mobility capabilities, easily got caught up in the gigantic whirlpool...and ended up being swallowed by Loqi! Both warships AND people getting lost in the void of Loqi's mouth...

3. Loqi kept on swallowing more and more water and warships. Other ships tried to attack the glutton giant from the sides...but an ominous rumble came from Loqi's body...and was quickly followed by his whole body expanding even bigger! Creating yet another series of waves, his expanding body pushing the water, making a bunch of ships crash and sink. Each swallow made Loqi expand even further...

4-5. Loqi slowly stood up, sitting down on the ocean...even though the level of the sea seemed more like a puddle compared to his colossal size. Even sitting down, he seemed to reach higher heights than when the fleet first met him.

Yet another ominous growl came from Loqi's body, his whole body shaking..."UUUOOOOOAAAAARP!!" The gigantic ruler belched, sounding more like a beast's roar, which made currents of wind strong enough as a storm's, sending some ships flying, and even some trees on the nearby coasts. And if it was a sign of him processing all the water, ships AND people he ate, his body expanded even further once again! THis growth spurt seeming to be far bigger than any of the last ones! A final, massive series of waves created from the sudden mass expanding, sinking even more ships, some people that were on some of the sunk or swallowed ships having jumped on the ships...and ending up stranded on the nooks and crannies of Loqi's body...

The very few ships that survived decided to give up and withdraw, not daring to lose any more of their comrades...they truly had the worst of news for their kingdoms...

As he saw the lil' thing run away, Loqi proudly claimed:

"That's right! Scurry back to your lil' Kingdoms. And tell them WHO they're dealing with when they defy ME!!"

"And as for your fallen comrades, their death wasn't in vane...After all..." Loqi proudly slaps his big, round belly to remark his point "...they contributed to the better good!" 

The people lost on Loqi's body went cold, terrified to be found by the dangerous monster they were lost in.

It was yet another victory for the unstoppable Loqi.
