July 2021 Sketches 11 (Patreon)

Here's a picture featuring Vanitas from Kingdom Hearts. The idea was suggested by Robin Hafner. Took some liberties with the idea.

"Vanitas from KH decides he wants to get stronger. Since he's made of darkness, if he consumes darkness, he'll get stronger, right? The logic seems to follow through well - as he gets bigger and stronger from consuming heartless and darkness. But then he gets big enough to start consuming the darkness of the night sky, and thing get *rapidly* out of control..."

Tired of Xehanort's failures, and playing with the enemy way too much, Vanitas decided to take drastic measures...

In the realm where the army of Darkness was gathered, all kinds of creatures of the dark could be found there. Unversed, Heartless, Nobodies, all ready to attack Sora and company whenever they were ordered to...

Suddenly, a portal to the Corridors of Darkness opened up, all the creatures twitching in expectation to see who was coming. It was Vanitas, with an evil smirk on his face.

The creatures were expecting orders...but suddenly, Vanitas rushed towards them! Catching them off guard. Grabbing a bunch of lesser creators, and biting them! And as if he was a "vampire of Darkness", the creatures slowly faded as he absorbed their energy!

Vanitas wiped his mouth, enjoying the meal quite a bit, his muscles pulsating with power once he digested those creatures. Then looked back at the rest, with a feral look on his face, drool falling from his mouth, expectant to eat every single creature of darkness in sight!

His feast of Darkness continued, having an easier time dealing with the creatures the more he ate, since the more energy he consumed, the bigger and stronger he got! Hist muscles constantly expanding while he kept on eating, and outgrowing more and more monsters in height and mass each second that passed. The bigger he got, the more lesser creatures he could eat at once, AND also had an easier time eating bigger creatures. The bigger the creatures, the bigger the boost in his strength.

No matter how hard the monsters tried to fight back, Vanitas' relentless assault was too overwhelming for them, the massive youth easily overpowering them with his sheer strength and bulk! 

At the rate he was growing, Darksides and Darkthorns only reached up to his bloated abs! To him, thos big bulky monsters looked more like tasty subway sandwiches.

Vanitas kept on eating and growing, the creatures of darkness seeming to be endless in numbers...which means they were an endless supply of power for Vanitas.

Seems like Sora and company will have to watch out for the next time they encounter Vanitas...Hell, with how much Darkness they have in them, Xehanort and the rest of his group will ALSO have to watch out for Vanitas to not eat them for more power!
