July 2021 Sketches 10 (Patreon)

Here's a picture featuring Link from The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword. The idea was suggested by Michael.

"How about a thing with The Legend of Zelda's Link, specifically the Skyward Sword since the rerelease just happened, having grown giant after eating a few too many magic infused meals, and he's burst out of his clothing with a huge swollen belly from eating all that meat.  But the funny part is he's still asleep, so he's lying on his side, not realizing he's accidentally squashed Pipit under his gut when he rolled over."

With how nice Link was, he tends to accept any request the people of Skyloft had. This time, Link was helping out the potion lady to try one of her newer brews. This one is supposed to give more than just energy, but also a boost of strength for people's body! So she wanted Link to be her "guinea pig", and measure the results of having this drink for several days. Link gladly accepted, excited to see the results...and didn't help the fact that the potion was pretty tasty too~

And quite the effect it had...if anything, it worked way too well. It was already waaaay past the last day Link was supposed to stop having the drink...but even after that, Link was the main customer who bought that potion everyday...and he bought the whole bowl every time too...

It might have worked well, but seems like it does build some kind of addiction...Link was getting way too big, making the whole floating island with each step, the whole island seeming to lower further each day that passed, with Link growing bigger each passing day...

(this is a version of the story where Link and Pipit are dating, so shushhh haha)

It seemed like Link and Pipit will have to find a new place to live in...since Link's room was getting a lil' tooo cramped for the two of them. Pipit already had trouble finding space in their bed...since his bf was growing bigger each passing night, expanding further. While Link peacefully snored, Pipit is covered more and more by his bf's growing body...mainly his huge, growling belly, which seemed to demand more food and more of that potion in bigger amounts each time Link woke up.
