Heyoooo folks, Scriptor here with the latest dev news!


Small (final) update on my health: I’ve fully recovered form my corona bout, having shaken off the last bit of lethargy last Friday. A bit of coughing still remains (as I will suspect for the coming time), but all around I’m once again doing fine. ^^

Game development

I’m almost done with the rubber flower fail-state images, and will be diving into the coding/writing phase this Tuesday/Wednesday: I made overtime yesterday but the latter-middle part of the rubber flower plant fail-state turned out to be quite finnicky with the X-ray shots… And it’s a part that I really want to do justice; since I feel those are some of the juiciest shots in the whole sequence. 👀


So instead of rushing to get it done and deliver sub-par quality on that part, I instead spend yesterday to get the base props, camera angles and all the other stuff for this part of the bad end “right”. So today I’ve opted to do something a small interesting extra (or so I hope) to the dev update: A small peak behind the screens as to how I make such X-ray shots. ;3


X-ray shots; or peaking-inside-stuff 101

Truth to be told, I’ve always felt X-ray shots are a bit weird to make; since you want to keep things aesthetic (pleasant to look at), while also keeping (or rather making seem) things cramped. However you also don’t want to obscure too much of the action; so how does one go about such a thing? Well the setup I’ve found to work for me is basically:


1: Decide on a camera angle and exterior view; we’ll keep this one static for the unfolding action.

2: Make a separate cut-out prop to visualize the interior; while keeping in account the above camera angle.

3: Render out both the cut-out prop and the exterior picture, then layer them in Photoshop to create the “X-ray” effect.


All a bit technical mumbo-jumbo, but luckily I’ve some (test) shots of yesterday to also visualize it to you folks:


First we decide on the camera angle and exterior view, which in this case is the above angle.

Then we make the cutout, which is rendered with its own lightning sperate from the base exterior image.

And finally we overlay the two of them, which creates (in my opinion) a nice “X-ray” type of effect.


Getting the cutouts done is (usually) the biggest obstacle for me: Since I need to make sure it “fits” the dimensions (and aesthetic) of the shown bondage, doesn’t look off from the camera’s perspective, doesn’t obscure too much of the body and also looks “cramped enough” to give it the feeling of, well. Being an “X-ray” shot! 😝


For sideview ports and vaginal/anal X-ray shots I (usually) do the same as above; but with a much closer camera angle and separate image overlay. These are rendered out in DAZ as well to stay as close to the base visuals as possible, for the side-view ports (vaginal, butt and breast close-ups) in the above sequence I will be using variants of) this one:

Which will be overlayed on these close-ups; to give those that X-ray feeling as well. ^^


These shots are often quite time intensive, though I do really like to include them within my works (from time to time); since I feel that having a visual on the interior makes things just that bit more exciting… So yeah, that’s basically in a nutshell as to how I make those type of shots. Pretty nifty eh? ;3


Anyhow I’ve got all the base props (cut-outs, wiggling tentacles, alpha maps etc.) done for this part of the sequence, so tomorrow’s but a matter of setting up those X-ray shots and rendering them out. I also need to do the final part of the fail-state which will see the rubber pixie “enjoying” her newest rubber flower, but that should be done in a pinch as well. After those I’ve got everything I need to hop into the coding/writing phase; I’ll be tackling the farmhands and their area in-game first. 💪


The official E.T.A. for V0.29.1 will follow soon; probably in the coming dev update (or two). Spoiler alert(!) but it will be somewhere in February; most likely somewhere in the latter part of the month. ;3

More teasers of the rubber flower fail-state! Starting off with a shot of the not-so-con path, Kathleen does her best to wiggle out of the rubber stalk she’s found herself in… Though unfortunately for Kat, it seems to hold quite the iron (but flexible) grip over her. ;0

The rubber pixie meanwhile has other priorities; as one of the “flowers” in the glade has started leaking the magical nectar she so desires from its mouth. She’ll probably will have to dig deep to get it all out, but for a creature like the rubber pixie…

That’s no problem at all. >;3
