Arrrrrr! After several days of renders and manually cleaning up noise, clicking the mouse until hands hated me, I finally got the first picture done ahead of schedule. It's 2160x2160, not 1920x1920. All that effort to get just 1 picture done - 1. This is why I can't just churn shit out. I'm in too deep. With the first one in the bag, I'm going to consider what pose I want to do next. Prior to the above or after it, I don't know. It'll be the same setting and that comes with a lot of issues that I'll have to put up with for the sake of completion. Along with the finished pic, there's are WIP shots that show before and after noise. I recommend clicking on them to see better. Instead of solely relying on a denoise or deflicker tool to get rid of the noise, which compromised sharpness and clarity (and didn't even properly get rid of them), I manually took care of each speck individually for as long as I could put up with. Yes, this insane act took me Friday and Saturday. On the globe gif, you can also see a very noisy "before" and a much cleaner "after". Madness. I want to take a short break for one day to rest up, but after that, it's back to both my day job and doing a second pic. Time sure flies.
