Hi. Today I continued installing the last accessories, clothes, and props before getting started on outfitting the model itself. Learning from my Ellen Page session, the more I prep the better it will be to smoothly transition from one picture to another. That is, if I end up doing more than one picture. Keeping my options open while I can. Legwork now means I won't have to bullshit around later, and the environment is already there for me as opposed to building it from scratch. The above pictures are what happens when you think you can rely on the software's automatic one-click gravity simulation and it completely borks out on you. All that hair and clothing that allow simulated physics mean jack shit, apparently, when conflicting with each other in such a heavy outfit. I'm already used to doing it myself, anyway. Tomorrow is a full day. Plans are to get the models right first, then fire up the environment and tweaking it the way I want it to look before planting the models in it. That'll serve as my base session file that I can duplicate if need be. I have in mind the main pose. If anything else comes to mind and I feel compelled to add it, it'll be added. Still in the early stages.
