A few words about this story poll. Lately I've been noticing that the projects I pick for these polls tend to sprawl a little - the last two winners, Minotaur Next Door and Racist Preggo Moms Waiting Room, ended up at about 18,000 words each. While it's great to be able to take my time with a story and really deliver a complete product, beginning to end, this also causes polls to be less frequent and for original stories to be more rare.

With that in mind, from now on, I'm going to try to limit Story Poll output to the 6k to 8k range in terms of wordcount. Sometimes, I'll simply do one chapter of a selection rather than the whole thing at once, or I'll choose smaller, more simple ideas that can be brought to life in a shorter time.
