Kink Fair (Patreon)

This either takes place at a well known kink event in San Fransisco or a very VERY gay alternate dimension.

Thank you all so much for participating in this! Additional to these are of course my own characters & my tiger dad Asyr as well as a few cameos I added to the background like Nalias (Noxfera), Cirez, Antidev, Gian (TraceurFoxer) & Zan (Popping) + a few random anthros.
If there is one word that I'd use to describe this picture it's: PHEW!
This was by far my most complex picture to date and I genuinely think I went a little overboard with it! x3
The thing is: I have been wanting to draw a picture like this for a long time. The idea of a Folsom Street Fair themed pic has been sitting in the back of my mind for a while, but I always hesitated because of the amount of work involved.
The sad truth is: Pictures with a lot of characters aren't just very profitable. I am not necessarily speaking money wise, since the upside to this was that people could afford slots in this picture for a much lower amount than usual - which made me really happy! What I do mean however is that pictures like this who require a lot of work often don't get the amount of recognition that they deserve. Because they aren't as "attention-grabby" as a solo character looking seductive at you in a waist-up pinup picture. I could easily pump out a sketch of Mufasa or Bowser and probably would get three times the views, favorites, shares, etc. than this is likely to get.
This didn't deter me however. I don't care how much views this gets. It's been an awesome journey putting this picture together and I am super happy with the result. The aspiration to make this come as close as possible to the idea I had in my head was the driving force behind it and at the end of the day, I am really proud that i was able to pull this off.
The only downside for me for big projects like this is that they drain a lot of energy and are longer term commitments. I already struggle with balancing my projects in a way that doesn't overwhelm me, but when I am stuck working on something like this, it really makes it difficult for me because I have to shoot potential new picture ideas down, so I can focus and finish this.
It has been worth it however and while I think that it will be quite a while until I attempt such a huge picture again, I am happy this turned out so well. Last but not least I wanted to thank the artist Druidogger who in part inspired me to go for it, as they did a similar YCH auction not so long ago: LINK. The sign on the van was directly inspired by that. ;3
Anyway, I am gonna take a break now and try to get back to my other projects and also catch up on all the unread messages on various platforms.
Enjoy!
