Through the valley (Patreon)

I apologize for the cryptic title, but I didn't want it to come off as whiney.

The numbers of my supporters here on Patreon is slowly dwindling and I just felt that I needed to address a few things:

First of all let me apologize for the lack of content concerning my comic and other things. The last of "A Star Is P*orn" was in May and I while I have the next pages all typed out in the script, I haven't found the time to work on them yet.

Financially my situation has been pretty rough these past months. Taxes and other expenses have left my bank account drained and I tried my best to compensate with focusing on commissions and occasional YCH auctions. The problem is that these take time away from personal projects and that leads to delays and other issues.

My biggest problem at the moment however is my own ambition to deliver more than I can. June was especially rough as I was pushing myself too hard to deliver the Pride Month pictures in time & with the same kind of quality as last year. It really took the fun out of it for me.

So going forward, I think I will dial back my ambitions a bit. The No Nut November project last year was a lot of fun and well received despite it being a black and white sketch series. I will try to include you guys more and do more frequent poll and suggestion rounds again, because I really enjoy those.

I appreciate the support of everyone of you and I will try to deliver more and better content again. Thank you all for sticking with me. :3

Don’t feel pressured, stressing it’s the worst, if it’s overwhelming take a break take time time to recover and get back on you paws. We’ll support you no matter what! 🧡🖤

You have no need to apologise. Tough times hit everyone at some point. I’d rather see art that you want to share than stuff that caused stress because you felt you had to complete it. I also love seeing sketch and WIP pics as it gives a great insight into the process. As others have said. Take care of your health first and foremost. 😍

commissions have really gotten expensive lately and cumulating too much patreon subscriptions can also quickly become problematic in terms of budget, considering how everything became expensive in general it was an evidence that a certain percent of people would step back (completely) from the furry art. The fact that it has gotten hard for everyone lately

I would love to see more black and white and sketch concepts from you! If you need to dial things down a bit I completely don’t mind. Still happy to support your stuff cause your art is always so freakin hot.
