A Craving For Meat (Patreon)

Beastars season 3 looks awesome.

This is a bit of a prequel to this image, posted last October. About a month after I finished it, I had actually written down the dialog exhange between Bill and Louis here. I usually have a tough time mimicking the "voice" of a character in terms of writing, but this time it flowed nicely.

So I had that idea saved for a while and rediscovered it recently because I started reading the Beastars manga. When Asyr I visited our buddy Cirez a few weeks ago, the three of us visited a manga/comic book store and when I saw Beastars there, I couldn't resist and bought the first three books.

I gotta say I really love it so far and have already ordered three more. I wanna take it slowly though and not bury myself in all the published installments just yet. :P

So coming back to the story and the characters made me think of that idea and it seemed like a great opportunity to actually make it happen now. I'm also working on the new comic page, but since I'll have a busy weekend ahead of me, I won't be able to complete it just yet. And so this picture fit neatly into this opportunity. I really enjoyed working on it and it's always a fun challenge to try and mimick the style from the Beastars series.

I'm really happy with how this turned out. :3
