I'm proud to present my newest animation, in the works since 2019: "Demon Domination" featuring my dear friend Cirez as well as my mischievious bunny character Rick and of course my incorrigble tiger sona Night! They all debark on a sexy journey for a private performance at a certain club, with all the attention focused on Cirez. ;3

This is the big project I have teased at in 2019 and 2020 and recently, showing glimpses of it. It was originally meant as a "little" thank you to my friend Cirez, who was kind enough to put up a part of the money that I needed to purchase the animation program Spine.

I really wanted to do something special for him in return and as these things go, big aspirations lead to big delays. I've returned to this project time and time again and with each step completed, more piled on. It lead to me getting so frustrated that I pushed it back further and further, until now.

Eventually I realized that I had to compromise and so I tried to figure out how to pour as many ideas as I could into a focused effort that only required a reasonable amount of work. Coming up with each scene turned out difficult, but the process was worth it as it gave me a clear path to follow.

I spent most of February powering through the drawing process and getting everything set up for the animation. Waiting until now to tackle this project had its advantages as the experience I gained from previous projects allowed me to be much more efficient and learn from my past mistakes.

Reaching the animation process is always the step at which everything comes together and has to hold up to work correctly. I had to go back and fix a couple of things on this as it turned out that working on three different scenes at the same time can cause some confusion.

In the end, I'm happy with the way this animation turned out. Of course my original ideas sort of linger on my mind and I wish I could have made it bigger and more complex. But that would have either led to more delays or with me getting so frustrated that I would cancel it outirght. And I didn't want to do that, because I didn't want to let Cirez down.

However, this will be the last longer animation from me in a while. I just can't justify spending so much time on a complex animation with multiple scenes and characters. The process is just too draining for me. 

I end up being moody, reclusive and frustrated at my own work. Towards the end of every big animation I have worked on I only thought about finally finishing it and all the joy of working on each step had disappeared.

I much rather want to focus on smaller and shorter animations in the future. The things I did when I started out with animations in 2019.

For the time being however I will return to drawing and focusing my energy on my unfinished comic project "A Star Is Porn". Given the nature of it being a comic I can much easier justify working on other things on the side whenever I need a break from it. So I should be returning to a more stable posting schedule again.
