3rd experiment with the "render" style on comics! Now between " " because I wanted to reword the balance in time spent between lineart and colors.

I tried the following:

โ‡’ [ Zhongzhu x HaiKaveh ] Fruitful encounter I used an insensitive to pressure round brush that allowed me to focus on shapes only at the lineart stage, then over-rendered until every brush stroke had been covered. Fun but extremely demanding; even though I love rendering, at that level it meant redrawing everything.

โ‡’ [ Kavezhu ] Playtime went back to my sensitive-to-pressure elliptic brush so the lineart itself looked more interesting, still rendered a fair amount of it (mostly because there were mistakes in Kaveh's face in the last panel, my bad, the style itself has nothing to do with it)

โ‡’ THIS CYNONARI. This time, instead of rendering (which I did anyway) I spend more time on layers below the lineart one, barely painted above the lines - the differences in technique between the Kavezhu piece and this Cynonari one are subtle and mainly noticeable in the PSD layers management.

Something between the Kavezhu and the Cynonari is more satisfying - on to test in on more comics and even illustrations!

๐Ÿ’Œ HD + PSD in attachments!
