In the last process post (>THIS ONE) I had talked about how in March I've been experimenting to find a style in between the flat colors one and the digital painting one. I also mentioned that I tried to apply that style to illustrations with a background, but my hand slipped and I ended up rendering almost as much as I do in digital paintings... except that rendering while keeping layers separate is extra painful haha

This illustration is the result of me being unable to keep faith to my intent - adding extra details is just  too much fun 😩
While I love digital paintings and they're probably my favorite to do, I still want to find an easier style for when I feel like doing quick illustrations and comics with a background!
