Sorry for the wait guys. Unfortunately it was just one thing after another so this update is a bit shorter than previous ones. We plan to make up for that when we release Carl's update next month where you'll likely see Leo's Wednesday fully completed along with a full update on Thursday for Carl. We just didn't want to keep you guys waiting.

Just out of curiosity, how many days will the routes be when completed? Is it a week long?

I’m really loving the new main menu music. It complements the new art very nicely. As for the update, the tension here was really well done, like, even more so than previous updates in my opinion. But man, that cliffhanger is going to kill me.

I'm not necessarily complaining, but it seems like Carl has been getting a lot more attention than the other characters. It's been a while since Flynn or TJ got an update.

Because Carl won the poll on who they were going to finish first. But since it was so tied with Leo and Carl they decided to take turns. So don't expect any updates on other characters until Leo and Carl have been finished.

Am I imagining it, or does it now seem like Flynn actually has a romantic thing for Chase?!

if I remember correctly they mention Echo lake or something like that, In Utah close to Henefer Utah and right aside of Echo Utah is Echo reservoir it is quite beautiful and i went fishing there once. And when i noticed there was also an Echo Creek i looked at it and the resemblance was uncanny. Perhaps the writer lives in or has rich history background from Utah. The last thing to note is the specific part where Chase mentions, "The water is only about 10 feet deep cause of the past 3 year drought. Utah has been suffering from a drought for the past 4 years... I mean it has to be, cause they keep mentioning In the western part of the country a lot, and the only town named Echo in the west that fits the description is Echo, Utah as far as i know.

So a big inspiration for the game was Echo, Utah. Long before the game's conception I came across its name in a list of ghost towns in Utah and was drawn to it. It stuck with me and it carried over to this VN, though there isn't much resemblance between the towns aside from the name, railroad history, and reservoir. I (Howly) am from Utah and there is definitely a lot that I pull from the culture and history of this state to put into the VN, though I'd say that if there was a comparable region in the US that Echo is in it would be a bit further South, toward Arizona and New Mexico. I chose that environment because I've always loved the deserts of Arizona and felt there was a lot of opportunity for horror and drama there. You'll likely see a lot more similarities as more of the history is divulged, however.
