Hello everybody! This is George.

Happy New Years!

I want to thank everybody for their passion and interest in The Smoke Room so far. The reactions and the positive reception have really meant a lot to me.

This is the second smoke room update for patrons. It's the intro to Murdoch's route, where you take up his bet, and learn a little more about why this fox so interested in Sam.

Sam has ideas of his own, too.

This update is highly NSFW, so be warned for explicit adult content, and play at your own discretion.

This was fun, a bit depressing knowing what was "lost", poor guy, but it was fun and he came out...maybe better, we'll see after that first job *yikes*. Echo had only some of this at the beginning so if we follow suit its gonna get a lot darker LoL but the charm is much stronger. Not to mention that musical score is down right heartwarming when its soft, chilling when dark, and emotional when it needs a mix. I really love it, a bit more and it may compare to Adastra music, may LoL

As for errors not many; after our time with Murdoch he asks us to get his back it should say "I need you to get my back, Sam." just missing the word to.

I like this just as much as Echo right off the bat I must say, maybe a wee bit more so. The dark side stories you write are intense, and that morning after thought from Sam was an awesome tone set for how this series sets itself apart from others. The emotional sprites too are adding a great layer of emotion that for a long time Echo lacked to me, which was a shame given its intense pacing. I do find it nice as well that we are getting some romance scenes better written out compared to Echo, though no unique art is a bit of a shame the narrative more then makes up for it. Only nitpick I have is that Murdoch's sprites seem a little off to me. I get his arm being raised is a show of his salesman character, but it be a constant state seems odd to me. Maybe a sprite or two where they are resting would make it seems less awkward, but I can't take him seriously when clothed and unclothed, he has his hand up constantly. Even weirder when you two are going at it and it still freaking up when the writing says he has both down. Look forward to seeing this continue though. Bravado!

I'm glad you liked my writing! Thank you for your thoughts. I can see what you mean about his sprite, but our sprite artist has made tons of expressions for us already. Maybe a resting pose can happen in the future if our artist is up for it, but it's low priority at the moment.
