Howdy folks, McSkinny here, it's finally done! Route 65, the little prequel for Echo has received background art for all scenes, new music, new character sprites (with expressions), and a whole buncha typo fixes. It's almost like one of those "finished products" you used to hear about back in the days before Patreon and Kickstarter were things. Anyway, I'm real happy with how it turned out, especially the work our artists Hiccupby and Click did on the painterly backgrounds. Also, having StardustPup, the original Echo sprite artist, doing the character sprites and expressions was real special. I'm excited to see more of his work in the future. In the meanwhile, let me know what ya think, or if I left any horrible typos in this time.

Update Log:

- New Character Sprites (with expressions) for the cast by Stardust Pup

- 17 pieces of background art by Click and Hiccupby

- Two replacement tracks by Abyuse and Bane

- Typos fixes

- Learned that gorgonzola was also a type of cheese

The old Torahiko sprite, nice one. Morenatsu got a remake and the sprites are now uglier, but they will resprite again. You propably know this already...

in regards to the new art, it's truly something special. I remember when Echo was first released and the original sprites were something really special especially Leo's; it just captures him so well and I think going back to the original to revamp the old work was 110% the right choice to make and I'd really like to see his sprite work in the final version of Echo. the new backgrounds look great and capture the look of Echo I think so much better than before and they now much more easily match the characters and just gives the game an overall much more completed look. Fabulous work on this one I look forward to a similar visual revamp for the main game.

Oh my god, these refreshs of the original sprites. I'm so full of nostalgia right now. And they have emotes, too. It's so sweet!

BTW Howly love the new sprites being used for emotions and behaviors, really well chosen so nothing really stood out of place, of course as my favorite I really loved Leo's

Just download today n noticed u removed the credit song from before but it's still good the sprite had emotion n looking great welp i look forward the next echo update n adastra.

I loved finding out more about the way the cast of characters are affected by Sydney's death, specifically the systems the all suffer from because of it.
