Bunch of stuff to cover that I've been wanting to go over for a while so here goes!

Animations: I've been working on the Lumity animation a bit more this month.  I've been talking about how I want to get back into animating for a while but my biggest problem is finding the time.  Especially with how uncertain everything is online right now, I'm always worried that cutting some of my work to make more time for animating will result in people leaving, and it honestly scares the crap out of me.  Comics I don't want to change, but I have to figure out how much time I want to put into regular pics if I want to animate regularly again.

Flipwitch: Remember years ago I mentioned I was working with Critical Bliss on an adult game?  Well it's still in the pipeline, but unfortunately it's a project that's been on the backburner for a while now.  There's been a lot of behind the scenes stuff I can't go into, but the good news is I'm finally being brought onto the team to work on more games with them as a rough animator!  I got to do a few of the animation roughs for their recently released game Flipwitch (check it out on Steam) and I have permission to share my work here with you all!  This is helping me get my animation groove back so hopefully I'll be able to get back into the swing of things and you can expect more going forward!

Assmas: For the last 5 years I've been doing "The 12 Days of Assmas" where I post 11-12 pinups pics everyday leading up to Christmas, but you may have noticed I didn't do the usual character poll for those this year.  I have decided not to do Assmas this year, as coming up with that many pics has been very stressful in the past and at this point I don't think I have the mental health to be able to handle that.  With all the stress that's come with working online (especially twitter) this past year I think it's best for me to not push myself like that again.  Sorry if you were looking forward to it, but I'm striving for change so I can once again be working on projects I can be comfortable with.

Scrawled: I've been teasing this for a bit and we're almost at the point of no return so I think I can talk more about it now.  Scrawled is getting a semi-reboot...kinda!  Ok not a reboot as in a fresh new start, the story and characters will continue as normal, but there will be some changes and retcons.  After working on it for a few years now there're certain directions I'm not happy with, many of which coming from not fully planning out what I wanted the story to be.

-The big one is the idea of "scholars vs brawlers" and each character being split into a class; I haven't been able to properly implement this idea and at this point I don't plan to use it anymore.  There just hasn't been a proper conflict to have two sides fighting eachother like that and the plans I have for the story are taking it in a different direction for the conflict.

-Another thing is Atti's past; I've alluded to some things with her nickname "Pattycakes" and I can say the plan for them was Atti once had some sexual interactions with some friends that was rougher than usual.  Not full-on non-consensual, but there was some rough play.  While I do think it's possible to implement these kind of topics into stories, it's something I no longer feel comfortable with including.  I wasn't going to show the scene, only have her talk about it, but even that now I'd rather move away from.

-Besides those and some character design tweaks, Scrawled will continue forward as usual, but in a more chapter based format.  Think of it like Gerph's "Skarpworld" series, where each chapter will be it's own little story focusing on an event or character and having it all fit into an over-arching story.  This will help me have time to write shorter stories to flesh out different character interactions and be more focused.

The Future: Things have been weird, let's say that.  Twitter is getting more convoluted all the time and at this point doing nsfw art on there is stagnating for a lot of us.  Numbers go down, stress goes up, the usual.  Having a career that revolves around the internet is scary and I've gone through quite a few bouts of anxiety over it.  This is partly why I want to get back into animating; it's something different that stands out more and would allow me to properly tell the stories I want to do in a way that I can't convey through regular comics and pics.  I don't know what's gonna happen with online sites, but I'll keep moving forward and focus on drawing what I love.  I want to thank you all for all your support and help these years.  Despite being stressful, it's great to know people enjoy my work and allow me to do this as a career.  No matter how long you're here for, I couldn't do it without you all, thank you!

As always if you have any questions or input I'd love to hear them, thank you!

The issues with a lot of "internet places" these days sure are worrisome. Hope you can start/keep doing stuff that sits well with you. …well, that previous sentence does not even sound like proper English but you get the idea I hope :D

What if instead of releasing 2 comics simultaneously every week you switched between one comic then the other, each comic being updated biweekly, giving you more time to work on animation every week which you clearly really enjoy. Also as a side note: I think it would be really cool and fun to see a Scrawled animation that's a bit more story driven.

I do like being able to put out something for each comic each week, I might look into changing some things to make the workload easier though. Scrawled animations is something I have some ideas for, I just need to start with some smaller projects first to ease back into it.
