February Pinup: Wendy (Patreon)

Wendy from Gravity Falls was this months pinup girl!  Wanted to focus on more storytelling with these 3 images and also practice some different lighting and color techniques from studying Carles Dalmau's works.  I was hoping to get these out a bit earlier but life has those ways of interrupting; a close friends dad suddenly passed away last week so we were spending time with them and going to the wake and funeral.  We grew up next door to eachother so I've known the family almost my whole life (literally since I was 1).  It was a nice memorial, although I do feel kinda funny whenever I'm in a church, like I should be bursting into flames any minute XD.  Also drove in a funeral procession, so driving through red lights and stop signs feels weeeeird.

But yeah, happy with these Wendy pics and hoping to do more with backgrounds and variety of colors in lighting like this now.  Hope you guys have had a chill week, look forward to the final bits of The Witching Hour next week and then moving on with the Scott Pilgrim project!
