Next Comic: Scott Pilgrim Project (Patreon)

With LWA wrapping up I just wanted to quickly go over my plans for the next comic project.  I've been wanting to do some more Scott Pilgrim stuff for a while, and I'm always brought back to the page where Kim and Knives are making out.  This will be a shorter comic, thinking around 10-15 pages (I wanna focus on making more short and focused stories) and be about the two of them a couple years later having a deja vu moment for that scene.  The two of them will be the focus, but I haven't narrowed down the full story yet, thinking I have to get at least Scott involved at some point.

I also want to do comics a little differently.  So far I've been doing comics one page at a time and just having an idea of scenes I want and filling in the space between them.  I want to start planning more, which will lead to more focused stories/writing and better layouts for the scenes.  The plan is to spend the first week or two writing a script and making the rough page layouts for the whole comic, then start doing the weekly pages.  This way you guys can see the whole story and the layouts up front.  There's a lot I need to do to better myself, and I think planning things out is a good start.
