Ch.0    Ch.1    A Rough Bond

I try to avoid the typical "characters fuck constantly for no reason" when I can, especially when it comes to my own characters.  For Beths first "showing" in the comic I want to build-up her background a little bit; in this case I want to show that she and Audrey have a bit of history with eachother.  Audrey is probably Beth's best friend and I plan on grouping them together more in the future.  Don't worry, this flashback won't be long, we'll be onto the main event starting next page.  Also the first time trying to show a flashback by muting the colors and effects, hopefully it gets the point across alright.

Next week is my misc. work week.

The irony of Beth being confused at being called cute while making a cute face. I still kind of worry for Beth. I can see why on her end she'd see Audrey as a best friend, though with how enigmatic, seductive, and even manipulative Audrey can come across, it's hard to say how much of that friendship is genuine on Audrey's end. Like Beth could potentially be setting herself up to be used and/or heartbroken.

I figure any explanation would fall under spoilers (no matter how much I crave to know XD). I've got my suspicions on Audrey due to stuff like Asi's "Never trust a snake" line, but if her friendship with Beth is genuine on her part then I do think that would add some interesting depth to her. Just a matter of when we'll get some true insight into her character. Also depends on how truthful Audrey'll be about the real reason they're having this bonding session, since she does have her spellbook on hand and tried to get Beth to do the same thing she got Nera to do with a client, and how much she pushes Beth for it. Would be really hard for me to believe in her friendship with Beth if she winds up leveraging Beth's trust in her into doing something like going back to have sex with the guy she didn't want to fuck.
