Also: This is the first time I've used Blender to assist with art. I used it to render the basic room, bed, doll poses, and lighting (see image). It took a lot of work but it will get way easier with practice. Don't worry-- I don't see it replacing my painting style but it will help get perspectives and lighting more accurate.
