Big Changes Coming in December (Patreon)

Hi, all. I've really enjoyed your friendship since I opened this Patreon over 2 years ago. Also, your regular and generous support has been mind-blowing. But I’ve found that between maintaining the server, doing streams (which eat up 8 hours per week), and fulfilling Patreon rewards, I just haven’t had time to fulfill some other obligations in my life or stay open for commissions. I've had people beating down my door for months, patiently waiting for a chance at a commission. As a result, I’ve been rethinking things. These are changes I’m thinking of rolling out for December:

• Overhauling Tiers: I'll open up a new super-sponsor level that would include larger art (8.5" x 8.5" @300ppi) as a reward. It'll be $50. The $25 level would stay the same (2" x 2" @ 300ppi) but I would open more slots. There’s currently 10 slots between my two Patreon accounts and that would go up to 14 (spread between the two sites). The $15 level would be eliminated eventually but if someone wants to stay there, I'll “grandfather” you until you move to another level or leave Patreon. To keep it all fair, I will open the new tier on both sites at midnight on December 1st.
• Livestreams: Starting this month, I’ve moved NSFW streams from Picarto to Discord. This will save me money that I currently pay to Picarto for premium streaming service. It's also a chance to talk with me as I draw. I also plan to use streams more for commissioned work so that I can build in time to do commissions again. And I’m thinking of having a stream periodically with slots for purchase... say $15 for quick pieces. Patrons at $25 tier or higher will have priority but they’ll be open to anyone.
• Commissions: I would like to open for 2 commission slots per month, maybe more depending on complexity of the requests and/or my schedule. Anybody that is a patron at $10 or higher will receive priority and a 10% discount.
• SFW Patreon Content Access: I've added a new SFW folder on the Discord server so all tiers that include Discord will also have access to the content from my SFW Patreon account.
• EU VAT: I listened to feedback on how badly EU patrons get boned on taxes. The bad news is that I cannot roll it into the price like all the civilized nations in Europe do. But the good news is that I was able to adjust benefits so that you're not getting taxed on the total price of the tier. You should see a decrease in your taxes starting the next time you're charged (please let me know if this is not the case).

I’ve really tried hard to faithfully fulfill my obligations and offer good incentives. I think I must be doing pretty well as I’ve had no complaints. Hopefully these changes will offer some balance in my work, pay for my management time (maybe hire much-needed help), allow me space to expand my skills, all while creating more opportunities for you.

One last thing: This is a work in progress. It might not work. But I won’t push on and not fulfill my promises if it doesn’t. Instead, we’ll restructure things to where they work for everyone.
