My idea of the magic here would be limited to items, single use spells and weapons. So magic is rare apart from devices and an item called an "advent card" cards that stores spells for limited use. Anyone can use a card but it would still depend on the user's own capacity for magic, the same card can produce different results depending on the individual. And the use of cards will be the majority use of magic which in this world is a long and tiring process unfit for direct combat unless in certain situation.

Examples are the Three spells we'll see her use in the next pages:

Luna, Cyclone and Joker.

Magic can be performed by skilled individuals but requires long and strict chant process to produce the right formula and would still require a "catalyst" apart from also the users mana pool but also requires a very long learning process in order to perform even the smallest of spells without the help of the other sources.

Think of "magic" as a set of codes and formulas to manipulate the world, in which codes are imbue in the card by a mage during a long process.

For example a single use "fireball" can take a mage a whole day to fit in a card to be used in seconds. Thus a majority of magic occupations is producing magic items.

Other forms would be spellbooks, which already have pre written formulas vastly increasing the magic process to at least be able to perform in some combat situations but still not as fast as a instant card. Cards loss the spell after use while spellbooks still are capable of multiple uses though it would require very high magical capacity or such certain races. A quick comparison is that advent cards are scrolls, but its definitely more convenient carrying a deck of cards than a whole bag of scrolls plus its way cooler.

Finally the "catalyst" which is the rarest but most reliable source of magic, one of the reasons is that it's a natural source of magic.

Items with magical properties and their own source, usually magical stones, metals and minerals, etc. refined for different uses. An example would be Aria's sword which holds its owns magic, the whole blade and the crystal in its hilt.

Also added the other member's symbols as teasers though we wouldn't see them for a while. But I had a lot of references in each on of them.
