Loss for words. RIP Mr. Toriyama. (Patreon)

By now I know everybody's seen the news that Akira Toriyama has passed away. I'm currently struggling to form thoughts into words. I've probably rewritten this post at least 20 times and I still don't even know what to say.

Rather than focus on how I feel right now, I'd rather think about the worlds he allowed me to get lost in. Be it Dragon Ball, Dragon Quest, Blue Dragon, or Dr. Slump, he's given me some of the most inspiration. If it weren't for him, I wouldn't even know what an anime is.

It's a massive gut punch and I'm going to feel this one for a while, but I don't want this to stop me or you from continuing to enjoy his works. 

Instead of focusing on the fact that he's gone, I'd rather remember the gifts he's left us.

I'll form better thoughts with time, but for now I want to thank Akira Toriyama for everything he's given me and for giving me a world to fall in love with. 

I know I'm not alone.
